I started this project as my final major project for the end of my graphic design degree. I decided on the subject of sexual assault and consent, following the Sarah Everard and Sabina Nessa murders, which were in the media. As a woman, it was hard to look into those cases, but they made me feel strongly, and I wanted to use my design skills to help educate people on sexual assault, as well as create a social media page that could be a safe place for victims of sexual assault. I had also been seeing more posts on Snapchat ‘exposing’ rapists and abusers from various universities, and wanted to do something, which is how this all started. I know that this project will continue long after university, and I am looking forward to my development, so hopefully this is the first of many projects.
